MBSA GT is the first Muslim business organization at Georgia Tech. We started it in 2026 because we wanted a community where our ambitions and our deen could grow side by side.
MBSA GT is the first Muslim business organization at Georgia Tech. We started it in 2026 because we wanted a community where our ambitions and our deen could grow side by side.
Georgia Tech gave us incredible opportunities. What we were missing was a place to pursue them together, as Muslims.
A few of us kept noticing the same thing. There were great recruiting events, great clubs, and great people all around us, but nowhere to build a network of connections while bringing our Muslim identity and professional growth into the same room. So, with Allah's help, we started one.
GT already has the MSA, which serves our community's spiritual and social needs beautifully, and the Muslim Tech Collaborative, which supports students building in tech. MBSA GT adds something alongside them: career development across every industry, from resume workshops and recruiting support to client projects and conversations with Muslim professionals.
We're also part of MBSA National, a growing network of Muslim business students at universities across the country. That means our members are connected to brothers and sisters, alumni, and mentors well beyond Atlanta.
Everyone who joins this year is a founding member, and every founding member helps shape what this community becomes.

We try to do everything with excellence, whether it's a client deliverable, an event, or how we treat each other.
Our work is a trust. We stay honest, keep our word, and hold ourselves accountable to Islamic ethics in every room we walk into.
We are each other's first network. We celebrate each other's wins, show up during the hard semesters, and look after each other's wellbeing.
Success isn't only for ourselves. We want to use what we learn and earn to give back to our community and open doors for the students who come after us.
MBSA National started in summer 2025 to connect Muslim business student organizations across the country. It hosts an annual conference and is building shared resources like a national fund and alumni network.
Through it, our members meet other chapters, attend national events, and connect with Muslim alumni at top firms.
